2G will evo x brembo fit my 2g?

just wondering if there is any difference from the 8/9 brembo brakes. i have my eyes on a rear set locally for less than $200. i want to get them, but dont want to go through the hassle of trying to sell them again if they dont fit. thanks!

They don't fit, they're bigger.

Yes, there's a difference in size; it's a tad bigger, but still fits if you change to an Evo 10 rear rotor. If you're using Evo 8/9 calipers then you must use Evo 8/9 rotors and vice-versa for Evo 10 calipers.

The rears from a X are slightly different and as far as i aware no one uses evo X rears just fronts, normal evo 6-9 rears are vastly available so try look for them as they are bolt on minus the trimming of the rear dust shield, the fronts are a different story but since you asked for rear advice thats what im replying to

Yes thanks guys I already scored some knuckles for the front, but waiting until I find a good deal on some brakes. There's a guy local selling a front pair for $200 but I'm sure those have been picked up already . Thanks for the short and simple answers guys, get right to the point! From my understanding, yes they work but you need the rotor, and 18" wheels for the X brakes.
