Will an AWD A/T work in....

a FWD setup. Just wondering if anyone has had or heard of a AWD A/T working in FWD mode as far as racing goes. I've searched all over and came up with nothing so far. Thanks for any help.

to make that work you'll need a VC eliminator i read something on here about people using awd trannys in fwd apps

I know you can use that for the dyno, but I've never heard of anyone using it for racing purposes.

You need either the VCE as already mentioned, or a welded center diff to run an AWD tranny as a FWD.
