will aftermarket tach work for me

i have a 90 eclipse with an ecu from a 92 laser and did not do the tach mod but was wondering if i just bought an aftermarket tach and wired it it will that tach work right.... or whats the easiest way to make my tach work right now without doing the power transistor swap

aftermarket will work just fine

yes it will work. On my 93tsi i had an autometer tach and needed a signal converter from autometer for it to work properly.
