I have a 99 Eclipse non-turbo. I bought a GlowShift tach and hooked the tach wire through the ignition. Its barely moving away from 1k. It's an MSD ignition and i've heard it won't work with it. Does anyone know anywhere else to hook it up to or anyone know where the stock tach wire is so I can go through it. Thanks!!

I hooked my Autometer tach into the Crank position sensor. I opened the clip to the sensor and spliced it into it. Works perfect! If it's universal, make sure you cut and tape off the other wires that would mount to 6, and 8 cylinder cars.

I'll try to see if I can find that and i'll try hookin it up there. And yeah mine has a switch on the back to change it to 4,6, or 8 cylinder. Thanks!

Do not use the ignition wire. Are you referring to the +12V feed to the coil? That is not going to give you a tach signal. Refer to the manual to your Glowshift tach, but the best place to pick up the signal is at pin 73 of your ECU harness, white wire.

Yeah someone told me that is where i hook it up at. reffering to the msd ignition. i tried it and it worked but it was off by atleast a grand. So I took it off. And okay i'll prob need to get a wire diagram to do that ### im not familiar with this engine. Im new to the tuners but love them. Never letting go of my 2g. And thanks for all the help!!

Thanks dude! Yes mine is a 2.0 so this works great! Hopefully it'll work. Thanks again!

Sorry, one more question, On the Crankshaft Position Sensor which wire to I splice into? The Yellow, Black and Green, or Blue and White?
