will a 2g power transistor and coil pack work on a 1g?

will a 2g power transistor and coil pack work on a 1g? Besides the brackets not being the same, will they work?

same question applies to me. I put a 1g transistor on a 2g and it fixed one problem. But it skips and is slow idk if it is the transistor difference. I have a 1g coilpack that works well if you need it.

there;s a whole other thread on this already , just look around or search. but yes, they all work with each other, coils too, the all are teh same except for the early ones with a tach output

91-99 are pretty much the same the only difference are the mounts. 90's are totally different from all of these. 5 pin power transistor vs 7 pin and tach output is on the 90's cp too.
