My question is will A 2G turbo engine harness and ecu work in my 1G. I have searched everywhere and no one has answerd my question please help.

Seems like it wouldnt you have a non turbo 2g and a 1g harness? I would think not since, and im assuming the connectors would be different.

The red car isn't what it is out of, it is out of A 95 gst and i'm wanting to put it in my 1g non turbo 2.0, I am going to start A build soon i'm just gatering all the parts.

Thank you that answerd my question. now can I just use the engine part of the harness or am I going to have to use the whole harness

If you got a 2g engine harness you would also need a 2g ECU ... And then you would run into issues where many connectors will not match... not to mention it will not attach properly to the body harnesses ...

a 1g Turbo harness of the same year will swap directly in ... You are much better off going with that than a 2g harness....

Ok. Sounds like I will just try and find A 1G harness instead.
Thank you for the answers guys! :thumb:

Not if you are planning on running a 2G ecu in the 1G as stated in your original post... Although you could run a 1G turbo harness and just buy (or build) a 1G to 2G ecu jumper harness. Either there will be a bit of modifying that needs to be done.

If I am going to use A 1G harness I am going to use A 1G ecu, I was only asking this question because my friend is selling A 95 gst harness and ecu and he said he would sell both to me for $200. But I am just going to keep searching for A 1G harness and ecu.
