1G Will a 1g AWD slave work on a 1g FWD trans?

I know that the location of the fitting and bleeder screw is different, and I know that it will physically bolt up. I'd just like to know if the line is long enough.

I now own a 1g FWD DSM and have a spare brand new AWD slave (red piston).

I understand the technical ramifications of using this slave in a FWD, I really just need to know if it will fit. My searches generally yield information about using a FWD slave on an AWD. I'd like to do the inverse.

I hate to answer this question myself but I am going to.

I tried it today and the banjo bolt rubs the motor mount unfortunately.
