will 90 axles fit on a 92?

i have a 90 transfer case, and a 92 talon without a transfer case.
can i use my 90 axles? will they fit on the 92 talons hub side so i can use the transfer case?

if i am not mistaken i think the 90 axles are smaller in diameter than the 92 axles, but if you are just putting on a t-case, why change the axles.

well instead of buying a used transfer case for the 92 when i have one out of a 90, just buy brand new axles that fit the 90 transfer case, but the question is would they bolt on?

the axles don't go into the t-case, they go into the transmission so all you gotta do is bolt it up.

the only problem you might endure would be a different spline count on a 90 vs 92 t-case and output shaft.

yeah i'm just gonna get a 23 spline tcase instead, keep it simple.

ilco187 is right. You won't be able to use that 90 t-case with your 92 tranny, you would find out when you try to bolt it up, but we'll save you a lot of time be telling you before you try

Now if what you're calling a t-case is actually a transmission, then yes, the 90 axles will fit the 92 tranny. I currently have a 90 tranny & t-case in my 92 and I've been running it for a couple months now. The axles are the stock 92 axles.
