i have 97 gst and have some 6x9's laying around. i was wondering if they would fit in the rear speaker panels???thx

well if u have the infinity system i think they are 6 x 9's not a 100% but, i didnt have it, i think i had 6 1/2 but i put some rockfrod 6 x 9's in there, just have to do a little bit of cutting it took about 10 minutes to get it perfect, *HINT* a jigsaw helps out alot :thumb:

Yea what he said ^^^^

Basicly you have to take a jigsaw to the black brakcet that holds the old speaker, just make the hole biggere and the 6x9's fit pretty nicley.

I had to cut a bit off of the interior panel to get large 6x9's to fit.

It came with them from the factory, but I put in beefier ones. Hence all the cutting :p

yeah mine has the infinity speakers...i would like to stay away from the cutting but i guess that looks like what i have to do

thats not all you can do, you could make a set of 6x9 mdf plates and put in 6 1/2 coaxials, or you could use a set of 6 1/2 components and mount the tweet either in the plates or even on the interior panel { flushed in of course}
