will 265/40's fit on a 2g?

If you don't plan on lowering your car much and dont mind having the wheels stick out(more than likely), yeah. I would say 265s are a bit much for an 8" wide wheel as well.

forgot to mention they will be going on 17 inch enkei rpm2's........



and to spidey, no I dont plan on lowering the car much at all. I sort of like the front stock, and i think I want to lower the tail end to even things out a bit. I might be willing to lower an inch in the front, but no more than that.

Screw it, I can't even find a 265 that i like .......... how about 255's on an 8 inch wide?

8 inches is a little narrow for a 255. You will need an offset of 35mm or less and they will stick out a little so you won't be able to go too low with your suspension.
