Will 22" slicks do me any good?

I have a buddy with a set of 22" slicks mounted and all and I'm thinking they are too small for my setup. My mods are listed in my profile. Would it be worth it to buy these and see what kind of traction I get or would it be a waste of money? They're 23x8x15 MT.

Any input is appreciated.

Save the money for a nice LSD, then worry about the tires.

I have no desire to buy a lsd for the car. I'm by no means a drag racer, I go to the track maybe once a year. I just want to know what kind of results to expect from these tires. I would like to see a 1.9 or 1.8 60'.

You should use at least some 24'' with your setup.

Dont loose your time with the 22''.

I'm passing on the 22's and will be purchasing some 24.5's here soon.
