wierd symptoms help plz ><

aight. previous wanker for my car hacked and chopped the shit out o wiring and guess what, he didn't do it right.

not EVERY time. but often, when i give left turn signal on the road(obviously it doesn't do this wierd shit when car's on parking lot), stupid pop-up came on then goes back -_-.

and I get ebrake light during very hard breaking/ and when i turn the car more than like 90 degree to the left(well i can say @ certain degree). again... car doesn't do this wierd shit on parking lot ><

I'm guessing some ####ed up harness somewhere.. can anyone help me wat to look/ how to fix it?

Get a mitsubishi electrical shop manual for that year car. I am not sure of your electrical troubleshooting skillz are but using the electrical schematics, I would trace all the wire relating to those problems from the source to the destination and compare it with the stock electrical wiring.


A side note: Is your ECU modded with the leaky cap fix?

urg i have never dealt w/ this sort of electrical problem before (just blown fuze ). >< but thx for help. I have wierd Japan Export version.. i have DSM manual cd.. i v been looking up for eletrical part.. wonder if ECU is the same? i have fuel cut @ 117mph(180km) and has no cruise control no abs.. ><

looks like he tried to put some sort of blinker in side of car to make his car look "cool" when i got it.. had weird switch on the dash of course that thing doesn't work now cuz i took it out. when i checked for fuse box, there r some crap nothing stock on there. Since i have no experience w/ electrical stuff. i just left @ there.. plus the harness goes in side of car DOES NOT look like stock.. >< god wat a wanker

Yep, the next time you see that wanker, take off the valve cover and beat it with him. But would not help!!!

I would remove ALL wire from the fuse box that were added on by wanker!!!!

he may have connected the "side marker" lights to each "blinkers" and possible "shorting against the wire for the pop ups.
What dumb ass?

i looked over it today. I was playing w/ blinker thing and i find out, Even if i pull the blinker very little, then I get pop up thing comes on. I'm thinking when i tried to give left turn, i accidently pulled a blinker thing a bit then i get wierd, pop up coming on and down.

And for the brake light, I checked the brake fluid today and it needed some fluid -_- duh.

and yes i will get rid o all non-stock janky shit eventually but those shit were not causing me this problem this time..
