Wierd Problem CEL code 22 Crank sensor?

Hi guys. Sometimes when I am driving, normally when I boost it, it will instantly start barely running. It will stay this way. The CEL will come on and when I check it with my logger it comes back code 22 which is crank angle sensor. Keep in mind this is a 1g and I dont have a crank sensor that I am aware of.? MMCD also shows me crazy high timing advance when the problem starts, like 33 degrees for instance . If the car is running it will stay running but barely. It wont idle you, have to keep the revs up. If the car dies, it wont start back up, it will only pop and spit. I can try resetting the computer and that doesnt help. The problem comes randomly and goes away randomly. Sometimes it will start back up 30 minutes later, sometimes it make take a day or two before it runs right again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot tuners.

Crank angle sensor is actually located in the cam angle sensor of the 1g. If you have a spare cas, swap it out and see if it is the problem. Also, check the ecu for board damage.
