I got a 95 Talon TSi, and I havent had the car long but whenever its running im hearing a wierd noise from the engine, not sure from where yet but it kinda sounds like a bearing from the alternator or water pump or something is trying to go out. The car runs fine so im not worried... yet. Well if u guys know anything or have any ideas let me know. thanks!

Take a screwdriver and put it up against the water pump. Then put your ear on the handle. This will let you hear where the noise is coming from better. Its alittle easier than taking off your belts. A mechanics stethescope is a good tool to have around but a screwdriver will do the trick. Let us know how it turns out.

Hey thanks! I spent all day working on the car today, and I checked out the power steering pump, and it sounded alrite. But I had a friend check it out today, and he said it probably is the timing belt, and it might be loose or need replacing. What do you guys think??
