Ok i have a dumb Question. Would i need a wideband, even if i aleady have dsmlink v3. Im trying to tune my car. any help would be helpfull

Yes, a wideband is an invaluable tool for tuning. The wideband gives an accurate measurement of your air to fuel ratio. Link will only give an estimated value which is based off of your manually inputed values. The wideband will show if those values are wrong.

Say AFREst shows 15:1, your wideband may be showing 12:1 or something similar on the opposite side of the spectrum. That shows there is a discrepancy in your "tune" and it needs to be addressed.

Assuming the wideband is calibrated and free from air leaks pre sensor, it will be the value you tune by which you would want your AFREst to match. Say for pump gas, you want an idle of 14.7:1, you'll adjust multiple values around to get both the AFREst and wideband reading to register 14.7:1

No problem.

I will recommend going with the Innovate MXT-L. Easy to wire up, can be (re)calibrated, switchable gauge face and bezel, user programed sweep range from 7.5:1-22.5:1 (I use 9:1-20:1), more accurate and faster than the AEM UEGO, easy to setup in Link under Linear Wide band.

I got mine to match up with link, the gauge reads faster and is roughly 0.1 AFR higher than what Link reads occasionally.

While LiQUiDx needs no support (and surely not from me on engines), I'll do it anyway. The most I ever learned about my engine was in getting DSMLink's estimate of AFR to agree with what the wideband said. The increase in confidence that you really know what's going on that you get from this independent verification is hard to express in words.
