I do have link as well and read something about not using aem but lc-1 is better to use with link.

I don't have much experience with the aem, but I have an lc1 and I love it. I would go with the lc1

I use an AEM WB..I do not have DSMlink though..I use ECUflash

I have had aem before and liked it. Now i have link and thought lc-1 would be way to go.

If you have link, don't waste your money on AEM, too many people have issues with it. LC-1 is the way to go. Compared to other WB's, like they advertise, the response is much quicker as well.
