Error code 3 is a sensor error. Check you connections, if it's all good hold the button on the gauge for 8 seconds to rest it. It should display 4 the 2 and reset. If it goes back to reading 3, the sensor may be bad or the wiring is. It's on page 2 of the manual, with the tech support number. Hopefully it just needs to be reset. Good luck
