$543.00 a piece :notgood: from the dealership. Yes just for the door panels (interior). My brother decided to take off the speaker grills on my door panels which weren't made to be taken off. If your planning on modifying, :nono: make sure you have a backup pair.

I had one of my speaker covers removed on my 94 door panels and it was easily fixed with a $3 hot glue gun. Was yours actually broke or just the mounting points broken? The glue gun is a lot cheaper than the door panel itself.

My smart friend installed my speakers in my car and did the same exact thing, he pryed off the grills and when it came time to put back in they would'nt go back in, I ended up using some Gorilla glue and they have been in ever since, you can never tell they were removed. :dsm:

thanks for the tip...i tried removing that grill before just the upper part and broke like 2 of them clip or whatever it is. i just use double stick tape to have it hold back on.

I just gotta know did you ACTUALLY PAY for the panels WTF I mean how lazy to you have to be to not know how to get some freaking epoxy and epoxy them back in there :toobad: ....you own a DSM rig something up

even more ridiculous, those little covers with the 3 diamond mitsu logo that go over the center of your wheel, 42$ each

yea its not that hard, the same thing happened to me and I managed to cram them back in there and used some clear glue. You can't even tell they were glued because I did it from behind...

The 1G design has to be the stupidest thing I have ever seen. You have to take the door panel off to get most of the trim off and the rest is plastic riveted on.... so needless to say the ones you find in the yard are already busted....

I'm just customizing mine at the moment and trying to fix the plastic insert which is all busted up. :talon: :talon: :talon:

i took my speaker cover off as well bc it was already loose thinking it was supposed to come off but obviously not.

Its broken from the mounting point of the speaker mold of the door. I tried repairing it with glue but the grills are shaped so weird that glue has no where to sit. Like a couple of people have been saying, Ill search some of these other dealers and members for the panels.

LOL ROFL no, I didn't buy them I just wanted to get a quote on them.

$300 for a valve cover from dealer, Bought for $25 on trader. or $700 for a set of cv axles. Your door panel should come off quite easily, mine did without breaking anything when I was replacing speakers.

Mine were broken at the mounting points also so I pulled the door panel off and glued them back on from the backside. I actually removed the broke tabs from the door panel and then pumped hot glue into those holes while holding the speaker cover in place. Waited for about 5 mins for the glue to cool and the covers stayed in place perfect. Here is a pic to show. If you look at the four holes around the cover, you can see how I pumped glue into them. I know yous is a 2g and this is a 1g but the idea and procedure should be about the same.

edit: sorry for the crappy pic but this is the only one I have. It should be clear enough to see.

Oh Ok, I see what your talking about, Ill probably try that. I was gonna take some tape that my dad gave me and use some gorilla glue and then tape it down to make sure that its flush, but ill try that first. Thanks. :talon:

Well if by chance you couldn't get it to stay glued. What ever happened to a JUNKYARD?
[Thanks, that was post #9]
