why my oil light on when idle

I have a 2g awd and sometime when I'm at idle the oil light will come on......its not steady on all the time but sometime on and off. What's the cause of that?? I checked my oil....and its full.

I had the same thing on my 95. I was worried about it too, but was told that it's one of those things our cars just do sometimes and to not worry about it because it's fairly common. Just to check and make sure I am full of oil and if im full then just don't worry about that light when it comes on at idle sometimes.
