Does anyone else have this problem...When I start my car the oil light stays on.. It occasionally flickers with the changing idle. However, when I give the car gas the light goes off. Please help. :dsm:

oil sending unit (sensor) you will see it on the oil filter housing. looks like a screw in fuse with one wire clipped to it. they are only about $3.00 so change that and see if that will fix it. My car would do that at idle after the car was fully warmed up then while I was driving it would go away. I changed the sensor and it went away. make sure you use some sort of thread tape on the new sensor cause it leak oil.
