ok so i did the balance shaft elimination mod (poorly) and my oil light comes on at idle when it warms up, and i have a VERY loud valve tick which came right after i did the bs mod, i also put in another oil pump, my question is the car has 170K on it will tearing it apart and fixing the bs oiling holes solve the problem or is the engine probably too worn anyways? what i mean is should i just get another engine from a junk because judging from the loudness of the valve tick and lack of oil pressure this one sounds effed
edit: at idle when the oil light comes on the engine kind of slows down a little then resumes its a real quick half a second change in speed is this lubrication problem? :*(

im constantly worried my friggin motor is gonna seize
and yes it is because of the bs elimination mod because i took the front shaft out with engine in car and did not block the rear oiling hole for the front shaft ( thought i might get by without doing that
) right now im considering taking the part of the front balance shaft that was spinning in the rear bearing and jb welding it in that hole any opinins on this? also is my engine going to seize eventually if i just run it like that?? when engine is at idle in park the light isnt on but as soon as i put it in drive or reverse it comes on because that drops the rpms down a little im really worried about it plus the loud valvetrain is driving me insane but its a real B*TCH to tear it apart with the AWD and everything, so any suggestions?
