after i put hid in my 1994 eagle talon all my lights flicker. I just figured im over drawing power. but how is this bad for my electronics(head unit, wideband, turbo timer, other gauges)

Because when your lights overdraw current from the other systems, the other systems do not perform at nominal efficiency. This can lead to all manner of problems.

Think about it this way, if you have some special plant that requires 5 gallons of water a day or it will die immediately (hypothetical example, I don't know of any such plant) and this plant is worth (let's say) the same as your DSM. Your neighbor has a fire, and the fire department comes and pulls so much water out of the system that your plant only gets 3 of it's needed 5 gallons. What happens to the plant? It dies.

Hope this helped!:thumb:
