WHy does my drive pulley belts come off!?

My belts were all snugged and tightened to specs and i have no clue why after awhile of driving it comes off!

it happens when i revv the engine to like 5K to 6 K!

I'm scared to revv it now OMG I lost my steering control and power to the battery.. this happened when i was goin goin against this dude :D

this is my second time though, i revved it when it was neutral and bloop! it came off!

why?! why?! why?! how much tighter should the pulley thing be?! both of the belts came off this time!

Did you take the pullies off? after taking mine to a shop I noticed they put the waterpump pully on backwards, it didn't make the belt come off but it did mess up the alignment pretty bad. Jus a thought
 
Throwing belts is usually a alignment or tension problem. Like yoshi points out, it possible on the 4G63 to get the water pump pulley on backwards if you not careful causing an alignment problem. It's also quite common the the crank pulley to seperate into the outer pulley and the inner hub causing alignment errors until it falls off.
