Does Mitsubishi make these parts and if not which manufacturer does? Water pump, timing belt, timing belt idler pulley, timing belt tensioner pulley, oil pump, and etcetera. I did a search on some of the individual parts, but some of the posts were either inconsistent or vague.

JNZ tuning hands down the best place to get oem parts. The others listed are good , but JNZ tuning is by far the best at handling the oem stuff

just curious... how is JNZ better than the others? customer service? speedy delivery? through the years i've purchased from machv, dsmparts, extremepsi, and map. i still use extreme if i need to.

Ive got several parts from several vendors i got oem parts and its all been the same too me, il, grab parts from the dealership, from time to time too, ive used oem parts autostore parts and after many years i still havent had any issues at all as far as the quality of parts. This also depends on the certain parts im replacing. Again this is just me everyone will have there own opionons or facts on there experinces but i base it on me. with my dsm ive only used tensioners and pulleys oem everything ive mixed and matched and still they work great.

this is very true! last purchase i needed to make was to replace my leaky front main seal. i think extreme sold them for like 20 bucks. i did some research and apparently a whole gasket kit for the front case cover, OFH, front main seal, etc was like 7.99 at the local parts store. i opted for the local place that would give me more gaskets for less money.

Yes thats just me, i worked for a dealership here and a lot of parts at the autostore meet or exceed the factory specs. I would assume many places wouldnt be in business if they had repeat product failures, even oem parts can have flaws even though they are new, there is a degree of having bad parts i worked in manufacturing in during the summer in college and i seen all kinds of defects and some things do get by quality control. Again only certain parts i have ever bought oem in the past 20 years of owning dsms. Everything else was from the autostore.
