i will say what i said on the celica boards when i ran the times.

i did it, i was there when i did it. i saw myself beating the c5.

you didn't see it, you were not there. you do not have the right to say i didn't when you were not there.

end of story.

i got my car from a friend of mine who is part own in darkSol motorsports {local shop}, was gonna turn it into a rally car, that fell through. i pulled it in the shop. asked how much he wanted for it. handed over the money. threw new axles and injectors in it. drove it home a couple days later.

i'll post pics of it later this week. it was a complete turd when i bought it, was turning pink and just looked nasty.

Here's a tip to help out. You could build a peak hold boost gage for $3. Just get a pencil type tire pressure gage and zip tie some rubber hose to the end:) I wish I had thought of that before I went broke trying to make my Talon fast. I also like the crushed FPR mod for increasing fuel. Thanks, Hess, it works.

im all stock except free-mods, k&n and iridium plugs, but i paid for the car itself
250-car(friend of family, heh dirt cheap)
78-iridium plugs & k&n

I hope to get 11 sec slips, for the investment of $5k.

Nick<--Including the cost of the car ,Has only $2900 in the Whole project! ;)

the reason i got my 90 for 300 bucks was being that car wasn't moveable when i started working on it
the axles were completely shot {no boots}
the injectors fried
a handful of sensors were shot

the care was bought from an aution
sat for 5 months till i started tinkering with it
put axles and injectors in it, drove it home
i have put a lot of work into it,
bringing back the paint, some of the interior, lots and lots of motor work

i knew what i was getting into when i got it
and its all an uphill battle, but its a smooth one
its a hell of a lot more reliable then my 95 gsx was
so far, its been a good car

sometimes you can find deals as such. sometimes you don't
if you find one, buy it!
you can always make your money back on it by parting it out
