Yeah he has the svo engine in there. Along with a huge turbo. The car is justg amazing to watch. He runs with a lot of the blown big blocks that come in on trailers.

It is one of the most popular cars at the track. They dont like imports but a turbo mustang they love :xnuts:

Personally i don't mind any car as long as it's fast!

Hmmmmm..........

I have only spent under 1k in mods and have run a 13.5 at 105 while missing 3rd gear. (imo easy 12.8-13.0 for me when i get another chance at a decent launch and a better tranny). But anyhow, parts are:

yeah, I figured a few 1G AWD guys would have me beat even though I do have quite a few mods for the price. I overpaid on the car in the first place, but then after I found all my parts for dirt cheap. Although I think I shot myself in the foot (costwise) by swapping to the 4G63 I wouldn't have it any other way. I just had to go for the sleeper effect but I do have the benefit of only weighing ~2400 lbs, so it makes it easier to go faster.

JUST TALK: Someone on the mirage/colt turbo board has a 4G63ed mirage (like I do) and they were a decent driver and had very similar mods as I do (16G w/supporting mods) and they went a 12.40 on slicks. Not that this really means anything, just that If my car is tuned properly and I buy some slicks there is no reason that I shouldn't be able to get into the low 12s as well for still under $3000 including the car.

hopefully with some free/cheap mods I'll be able to do the same with the GVR4 but its got a long way to go till it pulls like a V8:)

i was not on pump gas when i ran him. i was not running "sane" boost levels.
 
yeah, but they trap high and move on the roll. However, on race gas im sure you could stay with one easily.
 
i can't stay with one, not with that 14b u sold me Sean, my car only rolls if i push it now :), its ok tho cuz i should be purchasing my big16g tomorrow... Oh ya, and Sean's car is pretty quick but its ghetto rigged like a mu#@%#@%#@%#@%a(gotta luv that intercooler, when u gunna make me one huh?) :)

yeah, ok...every 00-02 C5 I've seen ran low low 13's to high 12's and you're gonna tell me thats not impressive considering its still STOCK!!!

there's a girl in our club that runs 13.0@108mph on street tires, bone stock and a Z06 that ran a 12.2@114. bone stock....thats not impressive?

dont know where you're from but here on earth thats pretty impressive for STOCK....and I've seen them run low 12's with just intake and exhuast....I've even seen them running in the 9's with a street legal setup (stroked LS1 w/heads & a cam)....but I guess thats not very impressive for a smog legal street setup huh?

the fastest z06 i have seen run here stokc has been a 12.8@112. no im not talking about a z. im talking about a bone stock auto c5.

I dont know what kind of drivers you have in Missouri but here in Cali the vettes are a lot faster apparently (and we have a ton of smog crap we have to have on the car)

and I call BS on your Celica story cuz my Z28 (when it was stock) couldnt beat a C5 and I raced an RSX Type-S with a 50 shot (almost same power...RSX is a lil higher) and I walked on that fool, Im thinking either you're a damn good driver, the person in the C5 was an idiot, or you're full of ish ;)

wow, well i dunno what to tell ya then, the 60' was 2.2, and i didnt say it spun all the way, just pretty bad at first. The car runs really well, and it weighs nothing, so, its no BS, sorry.

ok im sorry but i gotta ask for some advice from you guys. you are gods. i am not mechanicly experienced by any means so i have to pay to get the mods installed. i can afford around 70 dollars in mods every 2 weeks. i dont have money to go fast and i need to...pleeeeeease post away i can use every push i can get you know? THANKS :)

I bought my 1990 Eagle Talon TSI AWD for 4 grand.

It already had a couple modifications to it..

Joe P manual boost controller
Gutted Cat
RRE Air Filter
ACT 2600 lb clutch


Spent $110 on a 255 l/hr fuel pump
Removed the Honey comb on the Mass Air sensor
Created an aluminum heat shield for the Air filter ($5)

Ran 18psi on 100 octane gas
Tuned car with Data logger, (No knock or pinging at 18psi)

Car ran a 13.3 @ 105.7
1.85 60'
