Who has a Liquid to air intercooler?

I'm thinking about switching to a water to air intercooler set up on my daily driver GSX. I read some places that it would be bad for a daily set up but i don't see how that could be true if you have a good heat exchanger set up and a good pump moving the water. I'm just looking for someone with actual experience with it, thanks.

I personally see no need in trying to run a liquid to air setup on a daily driver when there are so many air to air intercoolers that can do the job just fine. I especially see no need in running one on your car which appears to have a stock turbo. I don't see why your punishment intercooler wouldn't be up to the task. A liquid to air intercooler on a dd seems like a PITA to ponder.

The guys running a liquid to air intercooler are the heavy hitting high hp guys.And I doubt a car with 800-1000hp is even driven on public roads too often.

Is it because you live in washington state and it rains 180 days a year that gave you the idea.
