Hi there!

I have a 98 GST with a T-28 on it with stock settings and for 2 days now I noticed white smoke coming from under the hood and coming out on the driver's side! I pop the hood open, and there's nothing there!!! I checked for leaks, but found none!!! The mechanic it might be some oil that was on the engine from the outside when he worked on it and that it's buring. He said it's nothing to worry about, but it already happend 4 times now!!

I also noticed tonight that every time I was pushing the car and looked at my boost gauge it was at like 5 psi on 2nd gear then 10 psi on 3rd and 4th! didn't go up to 5th though cause I was worried! I don't feel the car pulls like it used to!

Thanks for your help,
D!

P.S.:600 mi ago I had to replace one of my piston rods and installed a new head gasket.

Just took it for a spin and my boost won't pass 5 psi on 2nd gear and 10 psi on 3rd on !!! I don't know what's wrong ....

Check to make sure wastegate arm is tight.

As for smoke, rev it while under the hood and find out where it's coming from. Does it smell like burning oil?

if you mean the one on the turbo, then it's tight! RPMs go up, boost is like 5-9 psi and the car doesn't speed!!! Sill need help ...

Smells like coolent, but the smell disappears quickly ..

Thanks for your post ..
