Coolant has decided to go somewhere in shouldn't. You said you had a new headgasket.. have you compression/leakdown tested to see if you popped the old one?

Have someone that knows how to use one do a compression test BEFORE you throw tons of money at it.

Its not hard to do, but if you cant find someone to help out, it would be worth it to pay and have it done.

White smoke usually means coolant or water. You should be able to smell the coolant if that is what it is. I would do a compression test and a leak down test to further diagnose what might be going on in the engine. Do a cooling system pressure test as well if you can. All of these test will help you find out if there is transfer going on with coolant that shouldn't be. If nothing shows up it doesn't mean there is a problem but you need to start somewhere. Good luck!

Because "exhaust gases" belong there... :nono:

If your valve seals aren't sealing perfect it can get there. Your PCV valve should be letting that gas get sucked out.

Did you check your PCV valve to make sure it was functional before you installed it? They are known to be faulty from the factory, even the OEM ones.

So many headgasket issues lately. I have to ask, what does the oil look like? Lots of the time the coolant and oil mix, and when you go to check it there is a chance that it might look funny...kinda like chocolate milk. Deja vu... So anyway, what was said about a compression/leakdown, and cooling system tests are real sound advise. I would start with these before I did anything else myself. There is one more thing, you really don't want to keep driving it if the headgasket has indeed popped. That is going to cost you a lot more money if you do. You risk damaging all of your internals, as well as the cylinder walls I am pretty sure. What kind of headgasket did you get? I hope it was OEM.....

Also, you will need to have the head checked as well. Plan to take it to a machine shop. Not doing this wates your headgasket, engine, and money real quick.

OK
kinda scared >.>
have no other car to drive
most drive the talon
>.>

i need to fix this soon
now:confused:

3 simple tests to tell u if its a head gasket quick and simple.

1- Start it up, wait for it to warm up a bit well, normal temp level, and have a freind rev it. White or Black smoke... Not good!

2- After Car has run, un screw oil cap, look for a milk shake like oil on ya finger or look on bottom of the cap a white foam should be there.

3- Check the Collant over flow bottle for black residue, that would be Head Gasket matrial, means eather blown or about to be blown head gasket - SEEK MACANIC!

Just some ideas... cheers and Best of luck

My inference was that it shouldn't be there meaning that there's a problem if smoke is coming out OMG
