I was out driving when I stepped on the gas and the turbo spooled up and when I came to a stop a lot of somke clouded the car, it had a strange odor to it, I'm thinking a was a odor similar to that of a coolant, but if anyone out there can help me I would greatly appreciate that, thanks.

You sure it wasn't your engine block? Like your head gaskets or anything? I had a similar experience and it was coolant leaking into my block mixing with the engine oil. Better get that checked out ASAP and find out what the problem is quick.

Um searching would help but who cares to do that anymore. your headgaskit is blown or the turbo seals are shot on the coolant side. Almost one hundred percent sure it is a blown head gaskit. do a compression test and pop ther cap on the radiator off if you see it bubbling than you need a new head gaskit. Search if you have any more ? as this topic has been covered to much.

Check your turbo for shaft play by pulling off the intake pipe and trying to wiggle the compressor wheel. Any in/out play means the turbo is shot. If you can notice a little shaft play side-to-side, chances are the seals/bearings are failing. You should BARELY be able to feel any.

A compression/leakdown test will also help pinpoint any leaks in your headgasket, rings, valve stem seals, etc.

is the compression test expensive and can any of you tell me what the worst case scenario can be and what the best can be, not that anything is good about this but just wondering. There is alot of oil inside of the spark plug cover and there seems to also be alot og oil around the lining of the valve cover.
