I just resealed the front half of my motor and installed a forward facing oil filter hosing and replaced the timing belt and all timing components. Now when i start it it sounds like a supercharger was added and i cant get my oil pressure gauge to work.I know oil is getting up to the head i can see it slinging around.I have tested the gauge and it works and have tried two differnent oil sending units,do the forward facing housing use a differnt sending unit or does the unit need to be moved somewhere else. Can anyone help me please?

the whining noise you descibed would most likel be that your timing belt is a little tight...It will strectch after some driving and the noise will go away. And about your oil guage... there are to sensors on your oil filter houseing one controls your oil light the other controls the guage. If your guage isnt working your going to have to order the senser from the dealer. Hope this helps:thumb:

EDIT: Missed the part about the oil sending units.... If you cant get it to work try installing an after market guage...

For that sensor if your going to get a new one I suggest you think about just getting an aftermarket one from Aeromotive there like 150 an its the hole guage an sensor to install in the factory spot. The oem one i think is about the same price too.
