50 shot of dry zex kit or intercooler spray kit . I do have a fully built motor but dont want to spend 12 a gallon on a dd for gas . Also heard to many storys of meth going wrong

last time I will not run race gas ....want 400 whp my motor was in another car and made 350whp on pump and 449 on c16.

If you are running the 16g, then goto a different turbo setup. Check out the Holset threads.

You guys recommending him NOT to use nitrous because YOU don't like it, stop giving OPINIONS based on your own beliefs. It's still one of THE cheapest and most cost-effective way to make HP. I personally tuned a car here that made 398whp on 22psi pump gas, simple 60 trim. We added a 50 shot dry nitrous kit to the car and it made 499whp. Turbo cars LOVE nitrous. It's just another power adder.

Meth going wrong? I've heard more stories of NOS going wrong than Meth.

Meth is legal, and safer. If you get a windshield washer fluid leak, you don't lose your mind over it! On a basic level, WWF is meth with a detergent in it. You can run it in your meth setup!

NOS is a dangerous substance, and I will not advocate its use unless you are properly prepared for it, and educated in it's proper use. An intercooler sprayer is safe, as it does not enter your engine in any way, and CO2 is an inert gas. Effective, yes. Ideal, probably not.

Nitrous IS the cheapest and easiest way of adding HP, this is true, however it is also the most costly in the long run. A meth injection setup has the following advantages:

Inexpensive for a good kit (Snow Performance, Devil's Own etc)
Simple. You don't need to run special lines, fittings, crazy solenoids etc. Reservior, pump, TB Elbow with a relay and either a boost activated pressure switch or a Progressive controller
Cost of Supply: Lowes has Methyl Hydrate for around $7 for a 4L jug, and it's enough to power your system with some Deionized water for a long ass time.
Legal: 'Nuff said.
Safety: Your car will NOT explode with a meth system. You cannot light meth on fire in the reservoir, a leak will evaporate, and it is a lot less volatile than Nitrous Oxide

Now, if you are still planning on a Nitrous system, be sure you are adequately educated and prepared to use it.

Only in Canadia . There's no pure meth here for sale that's remotely close thats as easy to get. HEET is $2.00 a bottle.

well I have never seen a meth kit that will allow you to only set it at 20+ psi all I have seen are meth kits that spray a little then go wide open at a certion psi. Is there any place that will show me how to make my own intercooler spray kit ???

Oh course there are methanol kits you can do over 20+ psi. I was running methanol at 35 psi and with the Snow Performance kit you can go up to 100 psi.

That's true, but nitrous is for track use only NOT a DD. If a cop finds that at all, your car will be impounded, just food for thought.

N2O is indeed for the track only. As for the impound that "could" vary with where you live. I hear many cops in the USA are more the d#ck type, or think they are the ultimate authority for everything. I find most cops I have encountered in Canada to be decent.

I forgot to edit my post after my GF clairified the law to me.

Pa State Law:
Pennsylvania Nitrous Oxide: Legislation to prohibit the highway use of a vehicle equipped to supply nitrous oxide to the engine unless the system is made inoperative by disconnecting the line feeding nitrous oxide or removing the containers from the vehicle. The bill is based on SAN-model legislation offered to state legislators as a compromise to a complete ban on nitrous oxide systems.

Assuming that law was passed. I can't find the site my GF was on earlier to post it. Most states are the same way and if you are caught speeding with it hooked up you are in for a heafty fine. So it's still illegal for use on the street regardless.

well my best friend is a cop and he looked it up ..it says we are allowed to drive around with a full bottle of nitrous so has long has I have it not hooked up I will be fine
