I need to get a head unit for my car cause it doesnt have one right now, i was thinking about getting one of the panasonics cause i like the color and sheme and all that, but i was wondering if it will be able to support my amp and subs when it comes time to get those put in.

Is there another head unit thats about the same price that will be better in the long run as far as which cds it will play and how sensitive it is, and of course it will support my amp and subs well enough.

I dont just plan on getting an amp and a couple subs i'm probably going to upgrade all the speakers in the car, its just the car came without a stereo so i haven't been able to hear what the speakers sound like, i assume they arent that great. (92 GSX) =\.

Any suggestions and help is appreciated, im kinda in a rush cause i want to get my stereo as soon as possible, i'm tired of just listening to my exhaust :D

First off, Panasonic, good choice (I have one LOL). I picked up my deck from a local reseller back in 2k2 for around $200 new. You can probably find it now in the 140's. I'm running 2 12" 1200 watt subs with a matching amp. I could use an amp for the stocko speakers to get rid of distortion at higher DB levels, but it runs and sounds great other than that.

By the way, most Panasonic HU's these days are cd/mp3/sirius ready decks so you can get your satellite radio groove on.

If you want the model number or anything pm me, gotta dig up the box haha.
