Which cat-back apexi or megan?

I need a new cat back in my 1g. I cannot decide either a 3'' megan or an apexi n1 cat back. Does any one of any exhaust pics of these on a 1g? comments on these exhausts? Which one sounds better? Thanks guys for your input.

Megan is cheaper, but necks down at the dp. Apexi is decent, but expensive. Try looking at Dejon.

Less than 500 for the dp and catback shipped to my door. Sounds MEAN too!

He is correct tho. You could get the Megan and run that till you upgrade the downpipe. Then have the local muffler shop cut out the neck and weld in new flanges or something....

I got rear ended and my catback got smashed. It was a 2.5'' from my apexi downpipe with no cat. My apexi downpipe is in good condition I just cut the exhaust off from the axle back. Does the megan resonator restrict airflow? which exhaust do you guys think flow more?

A resonator won't restrict that much. And for the price megan is ###### the way to go (espically if you're gonna hack it).

Sorry about the double post. And sorry about the rear ending man. Same thing happened to me with my 93 NT. Luckily i found a 92tsi awd!
