Which Body Kit ????????

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

why does everyone always have to trash on everyone else.. we are all individuals.. we dress different we talk different we look different... our cars are going to express each persons personality... you dont have to like it but for crying out loud... respect it... we all love these cars.. really.. whats the point of flaming another because they dont think the way you do....

The OP asked about Body Kits.. we give our thoughts and suggestions no need to go any further than that...

When you ask questions, you are going to get all kinds of answers that you don't want to hear. That is the nature of the world. Also i or anyone else DOES NOT have to respect anyone's decision to make their car look stupid.

its stupid to you but for some people its not stupid. so dont act like a 5 year old and just respect others opinions

do stripper heels make a girl walk faster?.... Nope..but it makes their legs look good. Hahahaha!
Humor guys...humor

classic !!!!!!!! LolooLOLoLOL

Well, as I say to most asking this question: do what you want to your car, it's yours, make it yours. That being said, if you go the bodykit route, try to buy a urethane one as fiberglass will crack with temperature variations and will also damage from road debris easier than the urethane kits. The Buddy Club 2 is a good choice as it's lines do work well with the car. Don't try to cheap-out on paint because it will show very easily on kits. Just make sure to go through fitment and take your time as this is important in getting a clean finished product.

I think this is the one you're mentioning:

Haha exactly. I know this is off topic but I heard willow springs closed. Crazy!

Hey I saw you yesterday!, clean ride, over in Lancaster. Have you seen the Pristine 1ga Red GSX? owner's got to be in his 70's but it's the cleanest stock GSX i have ever seen.

Nope Wilow was open last time i looked, i even see the Official Supra Pace car, running around Ave. I

Wow so many douchebags on one page. I didnt think it was possible. Im pretty sure he asked which body kit he should get. Not if he should get one.. Or what you personally think about body kits or a 420a. But i'm guessing all the "cool guys" with there "cool turbos" just have to chime in. We get it. YOUR COOL!!

Anyways on the the OP and his question. Whatever you decide to get just make sure its urethane if you dont want it to crack if you hit a speed bump. In my opinion its the only way to go. Most kits i've seen dont come with pre drilled holes. Which makes fitment a lot easier.

Thanks everyone for your input I think what ima do is just leave the stock bumper on there get a carbon fiber hood throw on my projectors with the halo some black 18'' 5spoke rims and call it a day until i man up and swap out my engine

And by that last message i was being funny you guys suck i asked about a body kit and yall are all in left field talking about your turbos to me sounds like your trying to make up for less um how can i say this power no size no maybe muscle in other areas

Read the forum rules before posting. Proper grammar and spelling make your posts so much easier to read. Everyone makes mistakes but please at least make an effort.

It's your car, do what you want. If you want a really good looking body kit on your car, convert it to a 97-98 Talon.:D

But if you want to keep it an Eclipse, maybe put the Home Depot" lip on the front, some rims, lower it a bit, tint the windows...

Maybe I missed it, but what engine do you plan on swapping into it?

Honestly, ill give you a simple run down..
You already got most everything your car is going to need.
Don't get a carbon fiber hood..they look like $#!t after a few month.
Paint your car with the money you were going to spend on body kit.(don't go cheapo)
Buy some evo 9 bbs , and spend the rest of your money on the few handling upgrades.
Your car wont be the fastest, but you can turn it into a clean enjoyable daily driver.
There is not that many clean 2g's around anymore.

Welcome to the internet, I see you're new around here.
If you post on the internet, expect to get opinions that disagree with your own. Especially when you post a thread like this on a performance oriented web forum.

Yes because you know, we all make it day to day with our small wangs by voicing our disapproval of putting a body kit on your glorified neon. I'm glad you helped us realize this :applause:

Now, in all seriousness, feel free to put a body kit on it. 420a's aren't ever going to be worth more no matter how clean they are. In fact, please put a body kit on it. I enjoy laughing at them.

Or maybe because we actually own a real car? :hmm:

Go with the oem body, maybe a CF hood and just make it look clean; not rice.

Im all for the whole "its your car do as you wish with it." Some kits CAN actually look decent. My buddy had a 95 GSX with a blitz kit, I thought it looked great. Aside from the hideous front bumper the blitz kit has. I mean shit, look at Pauls (99gst_racer) car. He used to have a blitz kit. I believe he only has the side skirts on now and I think that his car is the sickest looking on the site!!!

I wanted to be slightly different as well so, I bought some aftermarket side skirts.. Bam! Didnt change the look much but it was enough to make a change. Some people knock it and say they hate it, keep it oem blahh blahh.. Subtle changes can make a world of different man. You dont NEED a huge flashy gross looking body kit to make your car stand out.

And who the hell said "dont buy a CF hood itll look like shit in a couple months"?? You're a frigging dumbass.. Maybe yours did cause you skimped out bought a junk hood.. Quality hoods will last..

And OP, making statements like your last are what probably are going to get you a bad rep and possibly banned. Just sayin. There is tons of knowledge on this site, use it or dont. But when you start acting like a douche, people arent going to want to give you a quality answer and not take you seriously..
