Which alternator's fit for 2g 4g63? (stock)

Not looking for the saturn alternator upgrade.

I saw plenty of galant SOHC, 420a and 1g alternators at the junkyard.

I have a 2g 4g63t 5 speed/manual alternator and I'm asking if any of those alternators work?

Are you looking for bolt on alternator or doing a lil wiring with it?

Your best bet is to grab a 94-98 galant 2.4 alternator. They are 90 amps and a direct fit. The 1g and 420a alternators won't be a direct fit.

Exactly what ^ said. The eclipse alternator is only 75A.

sorry to bring this back from a few months but im looking for this 90 amp alternator in the uk and i cant find a 2.4l galant, ive got 2 part numbers for some from a 2.0 and 2.5 galant

first one 2.5l MD336780 A3TA4691 GSLF 12V 85A 6Z17

2.0l if i got it correct MD317862 . A2TA5391 . 12V 90A 7Y17

this one is a US spec 2.4L and its 85amp but our 2.5L has the same alternator but different part number would i be ok using that? NEW MITSUBISHI GALANT ALTERNATOR 85 AMP | eBay

the 2.5 is the turbo v6. youd want the 2.0 one

so thats the 85amp one then. so is it worth it for 10 extra amps? as you guys get a 15 amp increase
