Are the turbo and n/a front bumpers the same. I am looking to put an intercooler into my 98 gs and wanted to know what I have to do or which one I need to buy. There is a black plastic piece in the way and the radiator looks in the way too. Also does anyone remove the black plastic pieces on either side on the fog lights. Why are they there anyways?

If you use a sidemount you have to remove the black plastic piece so air can go through the intercooler, for a front mount you might have to modify your front bumper so the piping can work, a front mount goes in front of the radiator, and ac, and you might have to cut your crash bar if your front mount is to tall.

Hes correct but i have another question. Is there a turbo kit going on wiht this intercooler? I have heard of people thinking an intercooler used as a cold air intake will help, but in reality it restricts air flow. Just looking out.

ya otherwise it would just take the air longer to get to the engine, I believe that would make throttal response kinda bad....
