There's lots of trade offs when tuning for pump gas and the best performance for daily highway smashing... I could pick 20psi at 12.5:1 and control the knock counts with timing... or I could pick 20psi at a richer air:fuel and higher timing... or 18psi or lower with less fuel and more timing... (all just random examples)
When you're tip toeing around a couple PSI or couple degree's timing or a couple % fuel, where's the most power usually? This is where dyno tuning comes in handy
but as far as street tuning, what is best?
