wheres a good place to get a trans

So im still a noob to this site and unsure on where to ask questions at.
so if this isnt the right place im sorry
i just pulled my trans outa my 97 awd talon tsi
just wondering where i can find another for it no racing trans but just a normal stage 1
every where i look is just re builds or racing trans.. my housings blocken not sure from what. the guy before me did this.
so if anyone has any input it would help a lot!

ebay, classifieds, craiglists, have it rebuilt and be assured its in new condition got mine rebuilt here by tre dirt cheap.

How much did you pay for it?
i think my gears are all good but theres just this small hole in it be bottom of the housing..
whats the website for them?

I think he has a broken housing. You could try to contact S&M/Miller Imports. (Stangmudera on this site) and see if they have a housing.

Otherwise browse the classifieds, ebay, craigslist, etc until you find one.

Mine rebuilt and a warranty 500 bucks just sold it it lasted a few years still in good sha.pe before i sold it.

Any transmission shop should be able to if you don't wanna take on the task yourself. Two awesome shops that just focus mainly on dsms are shepherd transmission and jacks transmission.
