where to plug egt sensor in at?

Drive pressure and EGT are both on runner #4, drive is the bung with the SS line plumbed to it on the left and EGT is the open bung by the cam gears on the right.

I also have a post-turbine EGT ahead of both O2 sensors.

Edit: There is minimum ~3/8" gap between the pipes across the whole run, I can also use a small band of heat wrap and snug them together.

The rule of thumb is 2"-4" from the cylinder heat port. That is where we run ours. We run all four cylinders though. Best data you can have for your engine. We have been running a hood exit exhaust for some time and have never had any soot issues.

I've thought about it! But I would have to make some unsightly notched holes in the hood to clear them.
