2G Where to hook up wastegate actuator?

Sorry for the nooby question but i looked around a good amount and couldn't find an answer

I put a VRSF front mount on my Eclipse, but the j pipe I purchased has no nipple for the line to the wastegate. I can't tee into the BOV because it was teed off of the wastegate line haha.

So where should I hook it up?
Where was the BOV hooked up to stock?

The waste gate needs to be hooked up to the compressor cover of the turbo , the j-pipe or lower intercooler pipe close to the compressor outlet or j-pipe. If you don't have a nipple in any of those places you will have to add one. Don't hook it up to the same line as the BOV or anywhere on the manifold. The BOV need to be connected to the manifold they should not have been on the same line they work opposite of each other, the BOV opens under vacuum and the waste gate opens from positive pressure (boost). The BOV needs to be connected to a port on the manifold after the throttle body and the waste gate needs to be connected to the compressor cover or as close as possible to it.

This one has some vacuum lines deleted but you get the drift.
They call the BOV the by-pass valve.

well i got this car second hand and have been fixing his mistakes ever sense, well crap so i guess ill have to make the old j pipe work for the time being

Hey guys, hopefully this is a good thread to ask. I just picked up a GSX, my first turbo car (only owned 420a 2g’s). I’m in the process of changing out my turbo coolant lines and noticed my wastegate actuator isn’t properly connected? Was wondering if anybody could give me a breakdown on how to get this properly connected or if I’m missing anything. Thanks!

Should be a little clip that holds it on. If you can't find one you can use any sort of deal to fit in the groove. I remember using mechanics wire until I got the right clip.

Got it, so looks like I just need a clip to get it hooked up. Thanks for the help!
