where to get my rims and tires bought and put on

ok this will sound dumb but i'm looking at some ADR ADEMONYA's 18x7.5 with goodyear eagle f1's 225/40/18. but i don't know a good place to buy them other than wheelnext.com. i would like to find a shop that can order them and put the tires on my rims and on my car. but i'm haveint a hard time finding that....

also what offset do i need?

search google for your area and I would get a offset between 40-45

Call your local mechanic and ask if he minds if you ship directly to the shop (like he would refuse, not). Order from whomever you want. You are responsible for selecting the proper fit.

Where do you live?
Why do you need a "shop"? Is it cuz you need them put on your car or what? I know I priced locally and a set I didn't like as much was $500 more than what I spent on the 'net for a set I wanted shipped to my door mounted and balanced.

What I did was get a wheel/tire combo I liked from wheelmax (although I/they screwed up and the wrong offset was sent-do not mount until positive everything is right, they will accept returns only on wheels/tires that have not been mounted so check), and the tire company here in the west is Les Schwab tires. So I got a set of Toyos and wheels from Wheelmax sent to my house, mounted and balanced. All I had to do was get a jack and a torque wrench and put 'em on.

If I ever need flat repair, rotation, or balance I can just go there if I'm not motivated enough to get a jack and torque wrench for a rotation. Rotations are easily done with a jack and a torque wrench so those are worth the investment. You won't need to balance them that much unless you are getting vibration. So really the only time you would need a shop is for the balance machine or maybe for a flat repair.

Also, just a heads up, my 1g was really pushing rubbing with 45 offset, fwiw.

Either 40 or 45 should work for 225's. 40 if you ever want to consider 235's.

I don't know about 2gs, but play it safe and get 40 or less with 235s. Wret is right! I can't remember who, but I know someone here has 35s and it looks very nice and still flush with the body.
