420A Where to get front and rear suspension set for 2G 95 RS

I checked rock auto but they only have the front from the brand KYB I believe. Oreilly has the front and rear absorber but not the spring and the other components to fully built it. I just want to buy a full set for only daily driving. I stopped driving my car due to me feeling all the damage it’s taking. Lowkey hurts to hear and feel, don’t wanna damage the strut tower or anything.

Have you checked yonaka for coilovers? They're the cheapest you can get.
Note: you might have to barrel sand the bushing on them because it's a two piece and one half is an incorrect inner diameter

I check them out and they look great, I’m very new to cars and I thought coil-overs is too much for a beginner. What does barrel sanding mean?

Just using a sanding barrel on a Dremel or something
I had to on my new set and I know of one other bought in the past 9 months did too.
Pretty sad QC there.


One way coil overs are as simple as a regular strut, only differing in that you can adjust ride height independent of spring preload and compression. These are not adjustable in any other way.. which can be bad if the ride quality sucks. Don't know yet, still on jackstands.

KYB AGX used to be the cheap adjustable option, paired with ground control springs or something else but finding those may not be easy. GR2 are the basic factory style replacement.

In less than a week I'll know what the "modern" yonakas drive like and can relay their ride data.. probably.

Fully build it? Are you missing springs? What is your expectation out of a new shock or coilovers etc?

If possible yes. Js smoother drives, as my shocks are completely blown

ll keep these in mind. They look amazing so I’m most likely gonna buy that set. I just can’t stand feeling the ground when I drive. No where near smooth

Then you don't want coilovers. My original question stands. Are you missing springs? Is that why you need a full set? Something wrong? Good set of shocks does wonders for ride quality.

FYI have you considered spring rate? Bushing condition?

I'll also just put it out there for all to be aware that Moog OE-style springs do NOT allow your car to sit at a normal ride height. They basically have no give and you end up looking like a lifted truck with AGXs.

Apologies. My car has springs but the places I looked into only sells the shock absorber alone, doesn’t include the springs. I just wanna fully built struts to install right away. I only want a smooth driving quality as a daily driver.

Coilovers are not a stock spring on a strut. They can allow for different spring rates, height etc.
There is more to consider here. I would consider having a strut changed by a shop if you can't change the spring yourself. You might also consider letting them just do the assembly. A mounted spring compressor can change a strut in seconds. It's one nut.

so I was planning to get them but they’re out of stock. I’m not sure how long they’ll restock but do you have any other recommendations?

My recomm3ndation for a daily driver is koni struts and leave the stock springs and quality tires.
As I've stated above most people do not know about suspension and do not need coilovers. To each their own.
