Anyone know where to get one? Looking for some parts to dress up my engine.

Greddy is the only company that makes the SS looking radiator hoses. It is just a regular hose with a braided SS sleeve on it. They make them for 2g's but they never came out with a 1g design. You could go with some Samco hoses, they are really nice, work great and come in a couple different colors. With something like that I would be more worried about functionality that looks. OEM, Samco, Gates, are all great choices. There have been a couple threads on this and if you really feel the need to bling underneath your hood you can get the kits here.

Samco does not make it for the 1g. Only 2g.

See if anyone has any clearance-rack APC items left over.

And believe me, our engines just love to get dressed-up. Almost as much as I do.

i think a really afordable and educational mod would be to replace or cover all my hoses.

id learn the ins and outs of all my vacums and it be a good way to fix up any existing vacum leaks.

has anyone done this? and where can i get some good hoses or hose covers , the theme of my car is going to be black and red , so those are the colors im looking for .

Unless your really set on red, I would go with the black stuff. Also, don't bother "covering" your hoses, they may be reaching their age limit and you may as well replace them with new stuff. The hoses can be found at most auto parts stores. I would recommend replacing one hose at a time so you know where each end is supposed to go. I only say this because one of my buddies had a "ut-oh" moment when he ripped all of them out at once and realized he had no clue what should be attached to where. Our cars are pretty similar so I went to his house and we used mine as a reference, an hour later he was good to go. It's always nice to hear about people who want to "refresh" their cars and learn more about them. Good luck.

yea i wouldnt mind replacing them along the way also , where can i buy new hose also , and ive seen the hose covers they sell @ autozone and Murrays it looks like a novelty item ....im looking for some hoses that will really hold up and covers that really stick out . don't mind paying a lil extra .

Do some stainless braided line with an fittings. Make sure you use the fittings on each end not a hose clamp otherwise you will fight the line if you have to take it off. Slowboy sells a good setup for the fuel system and you can order line from jegs or ebay in various sizes to do the vacuum line.

I wouldn't get anything besides the regular standard vacuum lines. I seen too many hondas and acuras with those "ebay" vacuum lines that are as easy to collapse under vacuum as a plastic straw.

As for the fuel lines, you can easily get it off summit as long as you know the correct fittings. Cutting them is going to be a bi*** though as those fuel lines fray easy (as me how I know). ROFL

RRE sells a "Larson hose Kit" with silicone tubes to replace all of the old vacuum lines. For no extra cost you get a little under hood bling. I have the kit on my Talon, it uses good quality silicon tubes.

I also used this hose kit on my Talon. The hose quality is great.
