Resolved Where is the power transistor module 1g

its near the coil pack connector. Its behind the upper timing belt back plate.

You should see it right below the spark plug wires leading the coil pack to the valve cover.

Its a black box, with 7-9 pins.

its 5-7 pins not 7-9 :p, but yea it controls when your plugs fire and on the 90s, the actual harness for the plug isnt long enough and it has a tendency to pull out, throw a cel, and make your car sound like a subbie. But if you hold it to the floor when you let off it throws a huge fire ball out the back......goood times :D :thumb: :talon:

i don't know if its throwing a fireball but i did hold it to the floor and it back fired really loud ill have a friend hold it 2marrow to see if that does it

so is this transistor the only thing that could cause my car to do this ?

If it backfires real loud then its throwin a fireball. In that case, you have either a bad plugwire, one of the wires pulled out of the plug for the transistor pack, or your transistor pack is takin a crap. Hope that helped. :thumb: :talon:

it means their is no spark so that means that it could bad wires bad coil or the transister i think it is the transister had had the same problom was told that they go bad

Personally id save yourself a headache and just lengthen the wires leading to that pack. They have atencency to pull out of the wiring harness leading to your car runnin like a piece of crap cause it wont engage the transistor pack the whole way. But if thats not the case, then your pack is on its way out....trust me
