Where is the fuel filter located on my 96 tsi awd?

I searched the threads and couldn't find out any info aside where the fuel filter was located on a gs-t. Anyone know where the fuel filter is located at? I have a 96 tsi awd.

It's on the firewall hidden, next to the battery underneath the cruise control cable box, look under there real good, another way you can find it is to follow the fuel line from your fuel rail all the way to the firewall and you will see it leads you to it.

Be sure to use the proper wrench otherwise you'll strip the nut
