Resolved Fuel pump install, where does the filter go?

I've found an install guide on how to install a 255lph on my 97 gsx but my question is where does the fuel filter go? Because it comes with a new fuel filter.

I'm not positive I understand your question, but I'll give it a shot. The fuel pump comes with a strainer basket, which is kindof a pre-filter. You can either re-use the one off your stock pump or use the new one that comes with your new pump. The actual fuel filter is in the engine bay on the firewall.

Uhh.... fuel filter is in the engine bay. But of course you already read the manual and the vfaq, which told you this, right?
