im going to take off all of my wheels to paint them in a few days and i want to know where to put the jack stands under my car? if anyone has some pictures that would be great! i wanted to put them under the sides along the side skirt, but it looks like something will get bent. any help would be great... it looks like the car is going to be put up on friday.

The lift points are supposed to be on the subframe near the skirts, but I use the concave part of the lower control arm, near where it pivots on it's bracket. Whatever you call that place...

yup - i use the frame rails to. ( yes it can crush them )

Yeah, mine are all screwed up. It didn't hurt anything important, it just looks a little sloppy.

You can also use the frame itself, which is what I used to jack the car up for long periods of time.

i guess i could just try using a floor jack under the car to see where i can jack from. if it starts to bend i can back off, LOL. i tried to jack on the side frame rail where you are supposed to use the factory jack and i bent some of the little rail thing that goes in the gap in the jack, so i didnt want to put jackstands there. im trying to figure out what is frame and what is not though before i jack.

just do where you are supposed to do it with the jack that comes with the car. i have always done it that way, and never had a problem.
