Where Can I Get Eyelids For My Headlights?

Sup guys,

Either the search engine isn’t working properly or I’m not entering the correct key words but I’m not getting any results. Anyways here’s my question, where can I get eye lids (I believe that’s what they’re called or eyebrows) for my headlights on a 99 eclipse? Before anyone flames or makes comment how it might look cheesy or played out, I understand that everyone is entitled to their opinion as they are to their personal preference. I personally like how they look and would like to see them on my whip. I know they used to sell them on eBay but I can’t seem to find them on their anymore. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I seen them as a concept, but lately I've been doing some brainstorming on making my own. I have to get the design down first. I've been putting elec. tape and shaping it to resemble an eyebrow. So far I don't like it but I can still picture it. Stay tuned..

In most cases Vinyl cut in the desired shape or tape off your headlight and paint up the area tends to work best.

I guess you can get a form of "cover" made.. i know awhile back someone was selling carbon fiber lids but... i don't think they do anymore.

You could design your own and just take your idea to a auto decal place and they will be more than happy to fab it up for you. Probably would not cost too much and it wont be as permanent and as much of a hassle as just painting your headlights.

i think another option for you could be to purchase a set of GTS headlight covers...and just cut them to whatever size you want...and then have them painted to match.

thats actually a good idea
most of the ones i see are just sticker or paint. if you want to go all out ive seen it done on a couple cars(no dsm's though) is if your good with metal, weld and form a lip on the end of your hood tohat overlaps the headlights and part of the bumper cover. dont know how well it would look on a dsm but you dont know until someone tries. and on the whole other peoples opinion-who cares your the one who has to drive it so your the one who has to like it.

That is my favorite...Talon door slits with blitz or stock skirts and the talon wing and rear. Also the 2 tone helps

i used carbon fiber vinyl tape (comes in sheets usually use to accent the dash) bought it at Canadian Tire (canadian auto parts store) i just cut out the shape i wanted and stuck it on

+1 for that red/black talon. So the doors off a 2gb talon come like that? and that wing isn't modified? I was doing some brainstorming on a wing idea and it came out something like his, but wasn't as high. Someone let me know.

Yea I've seen that red talon in pics here. I like the 2gb talon red/black top with the 2gb eclipse front, although the kit sides and rear is too much for me. Put a 2gb front bumper on staytuned's car and thats money!

^I kinda feel the same way. I wish the side skirt lined up with the door slits it would be money! I really like the color scheme though.

Thanks guys; I appreciate comments, pos and neg. I made those eyelids when I was in the garage bored one night. I had leftover vinyl from a center taillight bad-idea I wanted to keep them small and barely noticeable, but at the same time make them visible different. I took them off recently b/c im getting the "stock appearance" fever once again.

I got the car with the body kit a couple years or so ago, and the sides and the rear end on me. With the amount of Blitz-kitted 2gs (and 3gs) these days, its not really different anymore; plus I always had a thing for Mitsu 2g fronts. I really want my car all black, but I do love the Talon two-tone . Anyway, big thanks to DSMunknown for PMing me and letting me know I was spotted. Thanks agian guys.
