I just usually jack the motor up a bit so there is a bit of extra room, then just line them up and wedge a bolt in there one by one.
 
Hey All Vegas DSMers! I've got a 90 gsx and live here in town. I've just about completed the engine swap and all I need is a manual starter to get me going. I wouldn't mind meeting some DSM enthusiasts out here. I love working on cars and I'm always down to help out and trade with others like myself.
